作为新中国培养的第一代蒙古族画家的杰出代表，官布曾创作《傍晚》《草原小姐妹》《幸福的会见》等作品，是草原画派的代表性人物。10月21日，“心中的草原——蒙古族画家官布作品展”在民族文化宫西配楼一层展馆开幕，展出官布60余年艺术创作生涯当中最为重要的70余件作品。

著名蒙古族画家官布（1928-2013）将中国式绘画与西方现实主义手法相结合，将中国画技巧与西方油画技巧相结合，开创了草原山水画独特的呈现方式，数幅作品被首都博物馆、民族文化宫收藏。他创作的油painting 《傍晚》《草原小姐妹》都曾在全国美展上展出，oil painting 《幸福的会见》《读毛主席的书》等被中国美术馆收藏。

此次展览展出的作品类型涵盖了oil painting、国painting、year painting、comic strip、craft art、seal carving 等多个类型。grassland New Green pillar of the family Pingdingshan summer in the Ulaan Choroo grassland etc., are all for the first time to be displayed. The exhibition also exhibited two oil paintings created by Mr. Official during his lifetime, "Grassland Hero" and "Grassland Morning Song", which were collected by the National Cultural Palace since the 1980s. The exhibition also showcased various types of precious materials such as Mr. Official's life images, interviews, seals and publications, and held multiple academic activities around Mr. Official's artistic contributions.

The Deputy Director of the National Painting Academy under the National Cultural Palace, Li Hui said that Mr. Official's works presented a rustic quality and full of love for the grasslands,"With Mr. Official representing minority painters using their works to tell about affection among Chinese ethnic groups' unity, displaying vast beauty of our motherland mountains and rivers, displaying simplicity and multicolors of minority arts."

"From Mr. Official's works we saw a brotherly feeling among many ethnic groups like one family; we saw scenes of new China united labor production construction; we saw vast beauty of grasslands mountains & rivers; we saw simple pure love towards homeland." Said Baiyin editor-in-chief from Inner Mongolia Art News Society,"He was devoted to artistic pursuit with persistence , innovative fusion between East & West , plain affable spirit worth learning & promoting."
